By accessing and using Rootz ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Rootz provides a file hosting and sharing platform that allows users to upload, store, and share files. The Service offers both free and premium subscription tiers with varying features and limitations.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to keep this information up to date.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload, store, or share content that violates any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon intellectual property rights of others
• Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful software
• Engage in harassment, abuse, or hate speech
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
• Share copyrighted material without proper authorization
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without prior written consent

5. Content and Copyright

You retain all rights to the content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant Rootz a non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, process, and deliver your content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

We respect intellectual property rights and comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe your copyright has been infringed, please contact us at the email provided below with detailed information about the alleged infringement.

6. Storage and File Management

Premium users are subject to a 100GB storage limit. Publisher accounts have unlimited storage. Files that exceed your available storage cannot be uploaded, and you will receive an error message.

Anonymous uploads expire after 7 days unless they receive 5 or more downloads within 24 hours, in which case they become permanent.

We reserve the right to remove files that violate these Terms of Service or applicable laws.

7. Premium Subscriptions

Premium subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis through our payment processor, LemonSqueezy. By purchasing a Premium subscription, you authorize us to charge your payment method at the beginning of each billing period.

You may cancel your Premium subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to Premium features until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods. See our Refund Policy for more details.

8. Premium Features

Premium users receive 100GB of storage and an ad-free download experience.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms of Service or engage in conduct we deem harmful to the Service or other users.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, your files will be deleted, and you will lose access to the Service.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, we are not liable for any data loss or unauthorized access to your files.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rootz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
